Accreditation Council Manual up for Member Review

The initial draft of the WEA Accreditation Council Manual has been approved by the WEA Board of Trustees. This initial approved draft will be the Accreditation Council Manual used by the Accreditation Council for all current and upcoming reviews Accreditation Self Studies. As recommended by the Department of Education, the Board of Trustees has made the Accreditation Council Manual available for member review for 6 months.

The Manual has been posted on the WEA Members Page along with a members only feedback forum.

The Accreditation Council will make recommendations regarding the manual and the accreditation process. That feedback in conjunction with feedback received from the membership will be taken into consideration to assist the BOT in determining if any changes are needed to improve the manual and the process for future Council Members and/or future institutions moving through the accreditation process.
